Are We Doomed???

A friend turned me on to this site today, 10,000 Reasons Civilization is Doomed. I can't help but get excited about such pessimism.... I grew up in the '80s, when we were conditioned to fear nuclear annihilation by the Soviet Union, next came Y2K...every computer system in the world was going to shut down and send us into anarchy.... and then 9/11 and what I like to call WW3, the global war against terrorism. My only problem with the website is the assumption that we are civilized, everyday I see and hear evidence around me to the contrary. Maybe I should start a site titled...10,000 Reasons We Aren't Civilized...
